Build: 07-27 0.9.2, N6.1PR1 build on Win2000-Simp. Chinese.
Not reproduce on:
1. IE, N4.7 / Simp. Chinese pages.

If you go Simplified Chinese page, e.g. http://home.netscape.com/zh/cn,
http://cn.yahoo.com/ ...etc., the Simp. Chinese characters are all shows in bold
face if you view from Page Source.
This is not the case on same machine with Japanese, Korean and Traditional
Chinese pages.

Attached patch patch (obsolete) — Splinter Review
I have been though that those characters are in bold style. Until today I realize that those
characters are in "MS Hei". "Hei" is for stressing, and shouldn't used for normal display.
winpref.js need to be changed.
Shanjian: I have a question that don't understand. I saw these in your patch:
...
+pref("font.name.sans-serif.zh-CN", "ËÎÌå");
...
pref("font.name-list.sans-serif.zh-CN", "MS Hei");

What font.name-list mean? is that mean we will see the font for sans-serif will be
Song, but in the font list in preferences, still showing MS Hei?

font_namelist is the backup font we will use in lieu of font.name.*.
That should be modified as well. I updated my patch.

Naoki, could you r= my patch?
What is IE's default for Simplified Chienese?
IE is using MS Song. But this is unimportant anyway. If they use
MS Hei, they have a problem as well.
Well, I asked that because I don't know about Chinese fonts, not sure the Song
was the right choice. Anyway, I believe you.
