Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130627161625 Steps to reproduce: * I opened Firefox * Opened a Private window * On Private window, selected File -> Quit Actual results: It closed all Firefox windows including non-private window without even asking for quit. Expected results: It should have not touch to the non-private window
"Quit" is used to close the entire application, and normal and private windows own to the same process (check the process manager to be sure). For me, it's the normal behavior, by design.

Yup, quitting is a global operation.

Yes, but why doesn't it even ask for closing multiple tabs?

I see. However, this is not so good since there may be videos playing (or paused) in normal window and their duration is lost :/ But that's fine if we use only X button on the right, there will be no problem...

I am reopening this again, because I am using a QWERTY keyboard as most of the people do. Quitting (killing) the app without a warning with Ctrl+Q combination is quite useless since one of the most used shortcut is Ctrl+W which is just next to it and Q is likely to be pressed accidentally.
