Steps to reproduce:

When using the Tab key to access the "Show" combo box, JAWS v14.0.1823 reads it as "combo box text" and does not include "Show", the label of the text box. By using the “Virtual cursor” mode, the label is also not made available for JAWS to read. JAWS also reads certain list boxes as "extended selected list box" and does not include the labels of the list boxes.

Actual results:

When using the Tab key to access the "Show" combo box, JAWS v14.0.1823 reads it as "combo box text" and does not include "Show", the label of the text box. By using the “Virtual cursor” mode, the label is also not made available for JAWS to read. JAWS also reads certain list boxes as "extended selected list box" and does not include the labels of the list boxes.

Expected results:

Expected Result: When a specific user interface element is accessed via using the Tab key, all information about the element, including the label, is expected to be made sufficiently and accurate for JAWS to read.

What page is this happening on?
Sorry, I'm blind and cannot see the screen shot. Please *describe* where the issue is.
I apologize for the confusion and thank you for looking into this so quickly. The issue is occuring on the main page. With Jaws version 14 turned on, the team open Firefox 17. They pressed "alt" to get to the file menu. They used the Arrow keys to access the “View” menu then “Toolbars” then “Customize”. They pressed "enter" to select the option. As the “Customize Toolbar” window opens, use the Tab key to access the “Show” combo box. Note that JAWS reads “combo box text” and does not read “Show:”, the label of the combo box. They pressed the “Up Arrow” key to attempt to read the label, “Show:”, using the JAWS “Virtual cursor” mode. Note that the label is still not available for JAWS to read.

Another example: Go to “File” menu > select “Print Preview”. Use the Tab key to access the “Scale:” combo box. Note that the label “Scale:” of the combo is not made available for JAWS to read.

Another example: In the "Customize Character Encoding" window, use the Tab key to access the "Available Character Encodings:" list box,and then access the "Active Character Encodings" list box. Notethat JAWS reads these two list boxes as “extended selected list box” and does not include their
labels, “Available Character Encodings:” and “Active Character Encodings”.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Jonathan, do you still see this problem?
