Preconditions

• browser.search.region to DE
• extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries to DE
• have at least one CC already saved

Steps to reproduce

1. Reach the payment form on https://www.breuninger.com/de/
2. Using autofill feature, hover over any saved CC entry to check the autofill preview.
3. Select any CC entry in order to autofill the fields.

Expected result

• Form autofill/preview/clear should be applied on eligible fields.

Actual result

• CC dropdown is not triggered for the Card name field
• CC preview is limited to the selected field (Card number and Expiration date)
• Clear form functionality is operable only for the selected field and available only from the field from were the autofill entry selection was initiated.

• On Chrome, the functionality works for the most part, except for the Card name field,that seams to work independently.

Reverified this using Firefox Nightly 139.0a1 (2025-04-02), on Windows 11, and the issue is no longer reproducible. The CC dropdown is now triggered for the Card Name field and the Card Name field works independently from the rest of the fields, which is expected due to the fact that the Card Name field is part of the main frame.
If the autofill is triggered from the Card Number field or Expiry date fields, all fields are autofilled/cleared accordingly. Also, the Card Number and Expiry Date fields are not highlighted during autofill preview or after being autofilled (reproducing in Chrome as well).

Verified - Fixed, the behavior described in comment 2 (the expected one) is present in Nightly 140.0a1 (2025-05-07).
