Affected versions

  • Firefox 109.0
  • Firefox 110.0a1

Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: macOS 11.7.2
  • Unaffected platforms: Windows, Ubuntu

Prerequisites

  • Have at least one breached site saved in the profile-- instructions on how to do this can be found here

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox and go to "about:logins"
  2. Press the "Tab" key until the "Learn more" or "Go to -website-" hyperlinks inside the warning banner are focused.

Expected result

  • The hyperlinks can be focused.

Actual result

  • The hyperlinks cannot be focused.

Regression range

  • Will see for a regression. Seems that this was an issue way back in Firefox 70 as well. See Bug 1576175.

Additional notes

  • The issue can be seen in the following attachment
  • By activating the "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" in macOS settings will allow the user to select the links within the warning panel

I have also investigated this a bit in order to see if the issue is a regression. It seems about:logins page is not opened on older Nightly builds, e.g. from 2019-08-13, so we cannot verify the breached sites. Given the fact that the issue was also present in Bug 1576175, I think we can remove the regressionwindow-wanted keyword.

Thanks for reporting this issue — I encountered a similar Unity playback error in Firefox when testing web games. For anyone who’s experimenting with Unity-based web content or Android APKs, I’ve been documenting workarounds and sharing modded game versions over at https://jennymodsapk.com/. Feel free to explore or provide feedback if it helps others here too.
