Affected versions
- 108.0a1
- 107.0b4
- 106.0.1
- 102esr
Tested platforms
- Affected platforms: Win 10 with touchscreen
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox.
- Open a few tabs.
- Try to reposition a tab that is not in focus or move it to a new window.
Expected result
- All tabs should be draggable and repositioned, without being focused first.
Actual result
- Only a focused tab can be dragged and repositioned.
Regression range
- I don't think this is a regression, since I can reproduce the issue way back to 62.0a1.
Additional notes
- The reposition of tabs should be as smooth as on Chrome. The focus changes the moment you touch another tab and any tab can be repositioned or moved to a new window.
- Screencast to observe the issue.
