Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Customize page and enable Menu Bar from Toolbars.
  2. Drag and drop the Search bar on the Menu Bar.
  3. Close the Customize menu and observe the Search bar.

Expected result

  • The Search bar is visible.

Actual result

  • Only the Search string is visible. The search bar is not visible.

Regression range

Additional notes

  • Attached a screen recording.
  • This happens with white and dark themes as well.
  • The Search bar is not visible in Customize Menu while it's added to Menu Bar.
Has STR: --- → yes

Can you still reproduce this? Seems to work fine over here on Ubuntu.

Hello! I can still reproduce this on Windows 10x64 and Ubuntu 22 with Firefox 124.0a1 (2024-01-28) with Dark and Light Firefox themes.
