Preconditions
Windows
*Reach Setting > Ease of Access > Display > Show Animations in Windows > switch to OFF
Mac
*Reach the System Preferences, click Accessibility, then click Display and Select the Reduce motion option.
Linux
*TWEAKS > General > Animations disable
Steps to reproduce
- Launch the Firefox browser and reach https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/
- Hover the mouse over any Link displayed on that page.
- Turn off the animations.
- Hover over any links displayed on the page.
- Hit Ctrl/Cmd + F shortcut.
Expected result
- Tooltips for links and Find in Page bar are displayed without animation.
Actual result
- Tooltips for links and Find in Page bar are displayed with animation.
Suggested Severity
- S4
Regression range
- I'll will find a regression as soon as posible if there is one.
Additional notes
- There is no difference between having the Animation setting ON or OFF.
