Preconditions

Windows
*Reach Setting > Ease of Access > Display > Show Animations in Windows > switch to OFF

Mac
*Reach the System Preferences, click Accessibility, then click Display and Select the Reduce motion option.

Linux
*TWEAKS > General > Animations disable

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch the Firefox browser and reach https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/
  2. Hover the mouse over any Link displayed on that page.
  3. Turn off the animations.
  4. Hover over any links displayed on the page.
  5. Hit Ctrl/Cmd + F shortcut.

Expected result

  • Tooltips for links and Find in Page bar are displayed without animation.

Actual result

  • Tooltips for links and Find in Page bar are displayed with animation.

Suggested Severity

  • S4

Regression range

  • I'll will find a regression as soon as posible if there is one.

Additional notes

  • There is no difference between having the Animation setting ON or OFF.
