Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to about:addons.
  2. Click on one of the theme's cards.
  3. Go back to the about:addons page and click "Enable" on another theme.

Expected result

  • The page doesn't jump.

Actual result

  • The page jumps.

  • This is not a regression.

Additional Notes

  • On Windows the issue is reproducing even without step 2. If several themes are enabled then the issue reproduces.

Thank you again for the scroll anchor patch! The updated scroll anchor positioning helped but did not resolve this bug.
Chatted with :mstriemer a while back about a possible solution involving adding a placeholder card to the disabled themes section to avoid the page shifting down. I'm on the fence about that approach because I don't think it's good UX to have a theme card in the disabled section that a user did not previously enable.
