Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the .dmg and double click the installer.
  2. Choose Install and observe macOS UI.

Expected result

  • No visual glitches can be seen after installation.

Actual result

  • macOS UI is closed and reopened showing a dark background and reopening the dock.

Regression range

  • Not a regression, this was added by bug 516362.
