This was opened on request on [bug 740148 comment 107] (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=740148#107)

Affected versions

  • 89.0a1(20210407094544)

Affected platforms

  • macOS 11.2.3

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Firefox and enter Fullscreen.
  2. Right-click on the toolbar and select the Hide Toolbars context menu option.
  3. Move the mouse on top of the screen and then move the mouse down.
  4. Move again the mouse to the top of the screen.

Expected result

  • Toolbars are displayed.

Actual result

  • The Apple menu remains stuck and the toolbar is no longer displayed.

Regression range

  • Will search for one ASAP if there is one but this may have the same cause as bug 1697694.

Notes

  • Attached a screen recording: link
Has Regression Range: --- → no
Has STR: --- → yes
See Also: → 1687055
Priority: -- → P2

This doesn't seem to be a regression, tried with builds as far as 71.0a1 and the issue still reproduces on macOS 11.2.3. Going further, the builds refuze to work properly (they crash).

Has Regression Range: no → ---

This does indeed look like a duplicate of bug 1697694. Let's close this as such for now.
