Affected versions
- 89.0a1(2021-04-05)
Affected platforms
- Win 7x86
- cannot confirm on other platforms at the moment;
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox, access about:crashes
- have some crashes Unsubmitted and unsubmittable (this is the tricky part, as I'm unsure how they got in this state);
- Click on the Submit/Failed button;
Enhancement suggestion
- Add a Disabled state for the Failed button(can be reset with page refresh/reload);
- Replace the string with Retry/Resubmit instead of Failed;
Actual result
- Failed button still clickable;
Regression range
- will check once we can track for consistent fail triggering;
Additional notes
- attached a recording to illustrate the issue.

Tested on an affected nightly Firefox build 89.0a1 (2021-04-05) and on Firefox 88.0 using Windows 7 x86, populated the unsubmitted crash reports list without internet connection, the "Submit" button became "Failed" (black characters), after restoring the internet connection clicking on "Failed" button the crash report moved to the Submitted Crash Reports list. Tested on Firefox 102.0b4 build, the difference is that the button turns "Failed" with red characters and after restoring the internet connection clicking on it the report moved to the submitted list.
