Details

(Keywords: regressionwindow-wanted, Whiteboard: [mac:fullscreen])

Affected versions

  • Firefox 89.0a1

Affected platforms

  • macOS 10.15.7
  • macOS 11.2.3

Preconditions

  • Have set "full-screen-api.macos.shiftToolbar" to true
  • Have another browser than Firefox as default

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Open a new tab page and make sure the "Set Nightly/Firefox as your default browser?" message is shown
  3. Enter fullscreen and hover the mouse over the top of the screen

Expected result

  • The make nightly/firefox default message is not covered

Actual result

  • The make nightly/firefox default message is covered by the toolbar

Regression range

  • Will see for a regression

Additional notes

  • The issue can be seen in the following attachment
  • This happens with native fullscreen enabled and disabled as well.
Has Regression Range: --- → no
Has STR: --- → yes

Similar behavior can be observed in Safari and may therefore be expected from a platform perspective.

Priority: -- → P3
QA Whiteboard: [qa-regression-triage]

Seems like it has been fixed in latest Nightly 89.0a1 (2021-04-18), and the message slides along with the toolbar. Will close this issue.
