Preconditions
- Download the build from the archive and run
snap install --dangerous target.snap
Affected platforms
- Ubuntu 18.04
Steps to reproduce
- Open Firefox snap and Ubuntu Software.
- Select the installed Firefox and click on Permissions.
- Change a random permission ticking and unticking and restart Firefox.
Expected result
- Firefox is restarted as expected and works accordingly.
Actual result
- Firefox is restarted and the strings inside the browser are no longer readable.
Regression range
- I will search for one ASAP.

- Sometimes Firefox is not restarting, just giving an unreadable error message as well and the closing after selecting an option from the message.

Hello! I tried searching for a regression range on Ubuntu 18.04 and I found out next scenarios:
- 79.0b1 Firefox snap build is restarting as expected if permissions are changed while running
- 80.0b1 Firefox snap build is crashing when trying to restart after changing permissions giving a readable Crash Reporter link

This readable crash message can be seen until 84.0b8 included. Starting with 85.0b1 snap this message is displayed instead: link
