+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1685040 +++

  • the reported issue was fixed, however the mentioned page preview still has an issue with showing the whole page content;

Affected versions

  • 86,0a1(2020-01-19), 85.0;

Affected platforms

  • macOS 10.15, Windows 10;

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox and access about:preferences
  2. Trigger the print preview(CTRL+P);

Expected result

  • preview should extend to as many pages needed to show whole content;

Actual result

  • preview gets cut off at Network Settings (most likely print as well)

Regression range

  • first bad: 2017-06-27;
  • last good: 2017-06-27
  • Pushlog: URL;
  • checking on older builds, the preview was extended to 2 pages, second one being blank;

Additional notes

  • S4 as suggested severity, since it's more or less an edge case.

:mats might have better context on the regressor.

Not really regression per se, just that bug 1685040 didn't fix the problem completely for some preference panes it seems. Note that Print Preview never produced more than 1 page before bug 1685040.
