Steps to reproduce

  1. Make sure print.tab_modal.enabled is set to true in about:config.
  2. Open https://humanitas.ro/assets/pdf/Goethe_Faust.pdf.
  3. Hit CTRL + P before the pdf is completely loaded.
  4. Close the modal with the "Esc" key.

Expected result

  • The modal closes when "Esc" is pressed and view returns to the pdf.

Actual result

  • The modal is not closing.

Regression range

  • Not a regression, reproduces back to 82.0.3

Additional notes

  • The modal closes if the cancel button is pressed and also, if the pdf is completely loaded before opening the modal.
