Details |
- after input of user+password for Firefox; pressing the Sign In button clears the " ****** " from the password box, users might think it's invalid and try to re-input the password;
Main reason for why this might be an issue is that, with slower connections it might take more than 1 second for the sign-in to go through.
Affected versions
- 85.0b6, 86.0a1(2020-01-06);
Affected platforms
- macOS11, Windows 10;
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox, access https://accounts.firefox.com
- Input a valid account, click next;
- Input a valid password;
- Click on the Sign In button;
Expected result
- user is signed in;
Actual result
- password section is cleared, might cause confusion as it is empty; user is signed in without any issue though;
Regression range
- can check and provide one if needed, most likely not a regression;
