Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox, sync with a valid Fxa account;
- Access about:preferences#sync
- Resize the browser so that the window scroller is displayed;
- Click on [Change...] or [Change device name] button;
- Click on Cancel;
Expected result
- modals close, position in page remains as is;
Actual result
- position in page is scrolled to a so [Connect another device] option is visible;
Regression range
- not a regression, opened builds from 2016 that still have the issue; previous to this are not opening or brought by mozregression;
Additional notes
- S4 as suggested severity;
- attached recording to illustrate the issue;
- issue is most visible on macOS.
