Details

(Whiteboard: [print2020] [old-ui+])

Affected versions

  • Firefox 83.0a1
  • Firefox 82.0b8

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10 64bit
  • Ubuntu 18.04 64bit
  • macOS 10.14

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Navigate to any webpage (i.e. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page ).
  3. Enable reader view.
  4. Open the new print modal.
  5. Select A4, print the page and compare the actual print vs the preview.

Expected result

  • The preview is the same as the printed paper.

Actual result

  • The preview is missing the borders while they're printed on the paper.

Regression Window

  • Does not seem to be a regression since the old UI is also affected.

Additional notes

  • This reproduces for both actual print and save to pdf.

[Suggested Severity] S4

I can reproduce this on Windows. However if I maximize my Firefox window for a larger preview the borders are shown.
