Steps to reproduce
- Open Firefox and enable
webgl.out-of-process
. - Go to https://obersprengmeister.frozenfractal.com/.
Expected result
- Page is loaded as expected.
Actual result
- Browser is unresponsive and the game has a long loading time.
Regression range
- I will search for one ASAP if there is one.
Notes
- Attached a screen recording.
- This happens with WebRender on/off.
- The game is loaded fine with
webgl.out-of-process
pref on false.

I tried searching for a regression here but with no luck because:
- on Nightly 80.0a1 (20200720214226) with
webgl.out-of-process
on true the tab crashes when loading the page; - on Nightly 81.0a1 (20200730215452/20200805214454) Firefox freeze for a short time and a
WebGL context lost, please reload the page
error message is presented when visiting the link above and retrying; - on Nightly 81.0a1 (20200808213325) I see the same behavior as described in the description.
So I think it's safe to assume that this issue is not a regression. Removing the flags accordingly.

I think this was fixed, maybe as part of the minimal texture upload optimizations.
