Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Firefox.
2. Access the following link.
3. Right click on the password field.
4. Click on the “Use generated Password” option.
5. Navigate using your keyboard arrow buttons in order to reach a particular option.
6. Move your mouse over the option that was highlighted in step 5.

Expected result

• The option remains highlighted in blue color.

Actual result

• The option is highlighted in white.

It seems that mozregression pointed out Bug 1595743 - fix dark theme popup hover color;r=MattN for causing this regression.

We probably want to back my patch out. I'm working on something critical right now and won't have a chance to fix this in the near future. I'm looking for the process on requesting a backout, I'll reply here once it's set up.

This issue is verified fixed using Firefox 82.0a1 (BuildId:20200827212940) and Firefox 81.0b3 (BuildId:20200827203325) on Windows 10 64bit, macOS 10.14 & Ubuntu 18.04 64bit.

Fixed by Bug 1595743 backout.
