Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox, open the attached test case;
  2. Select all (CTRL+A);
  3. Grab the scrollbar thumb;
  4. Drag it towards the right side;

Expected result

  • content is scrolled;

Actual result

  • content is dragged past a point;

  • not a regression;

Additional notes

  • attaching test case and recording;
  • this might be better viewed as an enhancement since other browsers present the same issue but in a different manner;
  • suggested severity is S4.

Seems like a UX edge case. One could argue that our behaviour is perfectly fine (although different from other browsers) because we "prioritize" the selection over the scrollbar. I'll mark this as a P5, I don't think we should spend time on it but if a contributor wants to work on it we could accept a patch.
