Affected versions

  • 80.0a1(2020-07-23), 78.0.2, 79.0b9

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10, macOS 10.15

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox and access Facebook(must be with an account that has the new UI set up);
  2. Click on the Chat and open a conversation with anyone;
  3. Zoom in/out;

Expected result

  • elements are properly rendered;

Actual result

  • line spawns between chat-input and send-button;

Regression range

  • not a regression;
  • on older builds the issue is more visible, line appearing to be the container edges for the chat-input;

Additional notes

  • attached recording with the issue;
  • suggested severity is around S2-S3, due to the website being so popular.
Has STR: --- → yes

Def. not CSS. Layout, maybe graphics even. A test-case here would be useful, I don't have a Facebook account.

Component: CSS Parsing and Computation → Layout

Looks like a graphics artifact? (I don't have Facebook either to double check.)
Cristian: Do you have WebRender enabled?

Flags: needinfo?(cristian.fogel)
