Steps to reproduce

1. Navigate to any page and click on the Bookmark this page button
2. Expand the Folder menu
3. Click several time on the New folder button
4. Click Done
5. Right click on the toolbar and check the Menu Bar option
6. Go to Bookmarks - Other Bookmarks and expand all the previously created New folders

Actual result

• The expanded folders are not straight aligned

Expected result

• The expanded folders are positioned at the same height

• Not a regression, reproducible since the implementation.

• Not reproducible on Windows or maOS
• Suggested severity: S4

• Yes, it does reproduce regardless
• Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 20.04 are also affected

• Yes, it does reproduce regardless
• Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 20.04 are also affected

Is this a regression? In comment #0 only 79 and 80 are listed as affected, but from a quick check with mozregression this reproduces on 78a1 nightly shortly after 77 branched.

No, it is not a regression, reproducible way back to Fx 49.0a1, around when the Other bookmarks was implemented as part of the Bookmark panel and sub-folders could be accessed from the Menu Bar.
My apology for the confusion, with RC already in 79, I omitted the flag for 78.
