  • 77.0.1 (20200602222727)
  • 78.0.1 (20200630195452)
  • 79.0b2 (20200630191632)

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10x64
  • macOS 10.15

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Firefox and go to a random youtube video.
  2. Enter fullscreen mode by using the context menu.
  3. Double click to exit fullscreen.

Expected result

  • Video exits the full-screen mode.

Actual result

  • Nothing happens.

Regression range

  • Reproducible with Firefox Nightly 74.0a1 (20200202214642). I will search for one ASAP

Severity S3

Has Regression Range: --- → no
Has STR: --- → yes

Tried searching for a regression range but the issue is still occurring on Firefox 43.0a1(20150908030203) on Windows 10. Builds before this date cannot run youtube. I think it's safe to assume that this issue is not a regression.

Has Regression Range: no → ---

It seems to me a fullscreen API issue, or we fail to propagate the click event at that moment? However, I'm not able to reproduce this issue on Fx80.0a1 and Fx77.0.1 on MacOS 10.14.6.
