Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Firefox.
2. Access the following link
3. Click the “Hamburger” menu.
4. Click the “Print” option.
5. Right click on the page content from the print preview.
6. Select the “Save page as” option from the context menu and proceed to save it locally.
7. Close print preview.
8. Click the downloads button.

Expected result

• The downloads panel is displayed and can be successfully interacted with.

Actual result

• The following error message is displayed inside the browser console: Downloads: Downloads button cannot be found. downloads.js:551
• The downloads button is displayed as active and can’t be interacted with.

Regression Range

• I don’t think that this is a regression since this behavior is reproducible on older builds from 2016 as well.

Notes

• This is not reproducible if previous downloads were performed on the same profile.
• A workaround for this issue is by either restarting Firefox or hitting CTRL + J
• Simply initiating another download doesn’t seem to fix this issue.
• On a side note, Chrome seems to have disabled the "Save as" option from print preview.

There is no longer a context menu in the print preview.
