Preconditions

  • Have Firefox Flatpak installed
  • Have Flash player installed

Affected versions

  • 76.0b4

Affected platforms

  • Ubuntu 18.04x64

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Go to about:addons->Plugins.

Expected result

    1. The flash plugin is displayed.

Actual result

    1. The flash plugin isn’t displayed.

Additional notes

  • On regular builds the flash plugin is displayed in about:addons

Found in triaging. Going forward, Flatpak-related bugs will no longer be filed under RelEng, but instead in Core/Widget:GTK where folks have much more in-depth knowledge on this. If the issues are RelEng related, they can be filed against Release Engineering :: Release Automation: Other and we'll take care of that.
