Hi Mike, could you please set the priority flag?

Flags: needinfo?(miket)

Ksenia, does this reproduce for you? Can you take a look please?

Flags: needinfo?(miket) → needinfo?(kberezina)
Priority: -- → P1

I can reproduce this, with slightly modified STR:

  1. Login to https://outlook.live.com/
  2. Click inside the search input or perform search
  3. Click on the Skype icon

It happens in Firefox, Chrome and Safari, so this is an issue on the Outlook side. I'll reach out to the Outlook team to see if they can fix this

Attached image bug in chrome

Yeah, I can reproduce in Chrome as well.

Priority: P1 → P3
Flags: needinfo?(kberezina)

Because this bug's Severity has not been changed from the default since it was filed, and it's Priority is P3 (Backlog,) indicating it has been triaged, the bug's Severity is being updated to S3 (normal.)

Severity: normal → S3

Resizing the window to half its original size or less than its original size crops out the Skype icon on all browsers (clicking on the button is not possible, as the button is not visible. With a resize of the window that shows the Skype icon ( thus clicking on the element is possible, as it is visible) I was not able to reproduce the issue, with both Skype or the search bar, as in all browsers, Skype is opened in a new window.

Cristian, is the issue still reproducible on your side? Also, is reducing the window size to half or less than half exhibiting the same behavior?

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 101.0.1 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 104.0a1 (2022-06-27) (64-bit)/Chrome Version Version 103.0.5060.66 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Operating System: Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.7

Flags: needinfo?(cristian.fogel)

It appears that outlook.office365.com no longer supports Skype, but has Teams instead. This issue is no longer reproducible.
