Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Go to the website https://www.deutschland.de/.
  3. Open the Find Toolbar (CTRL+F).
  4. Search for a word that contains special characters (e.g. "für").
  5. Navigate through found items (F3, SHIFT+F3).

Expected result

  • All the found items are highlighted.

Actual result

  • The find toolbar shows that 2 matches are found but if you try to highlight the second one, it is not found/displayed.

Regression range

  • I don't think this issue is a regression since I was able to reproduce it on Firefox 36.0a1 (2014-11-07).

Additional notes

  • I’ll attach a screen recording with the issue.
  • I've also encountered this issue on Reddit and I'm sure other websites are affected, too.

I don't think this has anything to do with umlauts but with where exactly in the page the match is.
