Alastor, could this possibly be related to Bug 1609452?

No, I don't think so. And I can't reproduce this issue on latest Nightly on OSX.
From the push log, I don't see any change which would affect playback, so the possible reason for that is I would guess Twitter is testing some new feature during A/B testing.
Can you still reproduce this issue today?

I still can't reproduce this on the latest Nightly, could you try to use a clean profile or use other account to see if the problem still exists?

I can reproduce the issue with a different account on a new profile.
What I noticed was that the issue is not reproducing if you update the build. I am not sure what happens here. Also, on another profile the twitter feature ( video stops while scrolling) didn't work.

Hi Oana, can you please clarify what you intend with "if you update the build" ? We are wondering, how many users would be potentially affected here.

Same question to comment7, do you mean this issue can't be reproduced on the latest Nightly?
Also, on another profile the twitter feature ( video stops while scrolling) didn't work.
Does that mean the issue can't be reproduced on other profiles?

I investigated this bug again and I can still reproduce the issue even if the build is updated. And I can still reproduce it on the latest Nightly.

Yeah, I think it was just that one profile. I can't reproduce this issue anymore and I tried with ten different profiles and different scenarios.

According to the comment9, this issue only happens on one profile, and it can't be reproduced on other profiles, so I would say maybe some extensions or incorrectly modifying some prefs causes that issue.
Close this bug, but feel free to reopen if you find that this issue can be reproduced on all different profiles.
