Preconditions

  • have two monitors

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Firefox and https://img-9gag-fun.9cache.com/photo/aGgbNn0_460svvp9.webm.
  2. Right-click the video and select Picture in Picture option.

Expected result

  • PiP player is correctly shown in the default location.

Actual result

  • PiP player is briefly shown on the second monitor.

Regression Range

  • The issue is not a regression because the issue is reproducible way back to Firefox 67.0a1 (20190212195904), which is the last build that has "media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.enabled" pref for the picture in picture.

Notes

  • Attached a screenshot.
  • I cannot seem to reproduce this on the same station using Ubuntu 18.04.
  • Only some videos are affected. Another example will be https://9gag.com/gag/a4RW10y.
