Affected versions

  • Beta 73.012
  • Release 72.0.2

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10 x64

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Navigate to any website e.g. reddit.com
  3. From the Url bar click on the shield icon.
  4. Click rapidly on the "i" icon.

Expected result

  • The panel doesn't glitch while the panel expands.

Actual result

  • The panel glitches while the panel expands.

Regression range

  • Not a regression, I was able to reproduce this on 70.0a1 (20190901214807) as well, when the new panel was implemented.

Additional notes

  • This could be an issue related to GPU drivers, on other OS system e.g. OS X or Ubuntu the glitch is not encountered.
  • Here is a link with info from about:suport in case it may help:

I've just updated the graphic driver to the latest version available, and I can confirm that the issue is not reproducible anymore. Please let us know if we should close the bug in this case!
