Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Enable Devtools
  3. Access What's new page tab
  4. Select and drag a link of choice to about:newtab page

Expected result

  • The page is not accessed (normal links would only get loaded if dropped in the Megabar) and devtools doesn't refresh

Actual result

  • The page is loading and devtools refreshes too
