Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Firefox and access about:preferences#privacy
2. Open another window(normal or private) and in it access again about:preferences#privacy
3. Change the tracking protections between Standard, Custom, Strict;

Expected result

• changes are triggered instantly;

Actual result

• a slight delay is noticed after clicking on one of the 3 settings;
