Affected versions

  • 71.0b6, 72.0a1 (2019-10-31)

Affected platforms

  • Ubuntu 18.04; Windows 10, macOS 10.13;

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox, access any website such as wikipedia;
  2. Resize the browser so there is barely any space between the adress bar and buttons;
  3. (optional) enable the search bar and wait for the What's new button to appear;
  4. Resize the browser;

Expected result

  • UI is properly displayed;

Actual result

  • buttons keep their margins and end up overlapping;

Regression range

  • will provide one asap, 70.0/70.0.1 not affected;

Additional notes

  • attached screenshot with the issue;
  • initially it appeared to be an issue related to the What's new button appearing and pushing the menu button out of bounds - on Ubuntu, with 71.0b6; If this needs to be treated separately can file a new bug for it exclusively.
