Secure-proxy needs to know the canonical URL. Would be nice to add a "canonicalURL" read-only property in the captive portal API.

Will this fix require manual validation? If yes, please provide some steps to reproduce in order to correctly test it and also, please set the "qe-verify+" flag. Otherwise, could the "qe-verify-" flag be added? Thanks!

Details have been added to captivePortal and captivePortal.canonicalURL. Updates to the browser compatibility data are in PR 5326.
Please let me know if any changes are needed or whether I can now mark this dev-doc-complete
