Affected versions
- 72.0a1 (2019-10-22), 71.0b3, 70.0, 68.2.0esr;
Affected platforms
- Windows 10, macOS 10.13, Ubuntu 18.04;
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox, open DevTools, enable the DOM tab from settings;
- Access www.google.com;
- Search for anything;
- Click on the DevTools-DOM-tab;
- Click on any other DevTools-tab;
Expected result
- swap is instant as per other;
Actual result
- swap is delayed and loads slowly;
Regression range
- doesn't appear to be a regression, reproducible on 52.0;
- at a first check 47.0 and earlier versions did not have the DOM tab implemented;
Additional notes
- attached recording with the issue;
- on websites such as Facebook and Youtube(with scrollable content), the issue doesn't appear to manifest (or at least, not as badly).
