Steps to reproduce
- Place the browser on the lower half of the screen.
- Open any site with a new profile or click on the shield icon from URL bar and then on the "i" symbol.
- Observe the panel.
Expected result
- The doorhanger is correctly displayed and it changes its location on the upper part of the screen.
Actual result
- Part of the doorhanger is missing and it's displayed on the lower part of the screen.
Regression range
- This is a not regression.

I can't reproduce this on macOS with the latest Nightly. The second patch on bug 1582750 ("Manually invoke descriptionHeightWorkaround() [...]") should have fixed this. Please let me know if this is still reproducible for you.

Yes, I can reproduce it on the latest Nightly, too, both on Windows 10 x64 and macOS 10.15.

Ah, based on your screenshot, there seems to be no room for the panel both above and below. This is why we are resorting to clipping in this case. I'm not sure what the right thing to do is here... one simple hacky solution would be to allow the panel to scroll upon overflow. Johann, any ideas?

Indeed, I can reproduce this issue after lowering my screen resolution.
