Affected versions

  • Firefox 70.a01

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10 x64
  • Ubuntu 18.04 x64
  • macOS 10.13

Prerequisite:

  • Dark Theme is enabled.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open any site with a new profile or click on the shield icon from URL bar and then on the "i" symbol.
  2. Observe the "Browse without being followed" panel.

Expected result

  • If the colors from the panel header are changed for Dark Theme, I think that the colors from the "Browse without being followed" panel should match.

Actual result

  • The colors from the "Browse without being followed" panel are darker ( they match the ones from the panel header in Light or Default theme).

Regression range

  • I don't think this is a regression.

Additional notes

  • Please look at the attached gif.

FWIW, I brought this up with UX when we were implementing and IIRC I was told that it's fine. The background gradient is part of the image and not set in CSS or anything, so we'd need a separate graphic for dark mode to fix this.
