[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Enabled the Search Bar ( about:preferences#search - check the Add search bar in toolbar)
2. Enter a search term inside the Search Bar.
3. Right click on the -> button inside the Search Bar
4. Select Remove from Toolbar option

[Expected result]:

• The search drop-down panel is dismissed instantly.

[Actual result]:

• The search drop-down panel is not dismissed instantly.

[Regression range]:

• Issue introduced somewhere between Fx 69 (2019-06-01) and Fx 69 (2019-07-01). I will come back with a more accurate conclusion asap.

[Additional Notes]:

• Search drop-down panel disappears after several seconds or if clicking anywhere outside the panel.

Still reproducible on my end with Nightly 84.0a1 (2020-11-10) on Ubuntu 18.04.
