Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox, access https://www.thinkbroadband.com/download
- Start any download ( files larger than 50mb);
- Click on the Downloads icon;
- Click on the Cancel(X) / Retry buttons for the download;
- Right Click on the downloaded file;
Expected result
- Pause button is actionable;
Actual result
- Pause button is grayed out;
Regression range
- last good build_date: 2008-11-30; changeset: 8df5a90281cd pushlog
- first bad build_date: 2008-12-01; changeset: 8df5a90281cd; pushlog
Additional notes - attaching recording with the issue;
- same issue occurs in the Download library (Ctrl+J)
- closing bug 508606 since the issue is to old and not tracked (can be viewed as dupe);
- issue appears to have been fixed one in bug 391869, not reopening since the code may have suffered to many changes since.

This seems heavily dependent on which server is actually serving the download. Marco and I cannot reproduce, unfortunately - like bug 1525243, it likely has to do with the network setup, and without being able to reproduce that it's not possible for us to do much here. As a regression it's so old that that also doesn't help us very much either, unfortunately... the downloads implementation has already been completely rewritten since then.

Probably doesn't make sense to track this for releases given that we can't reproduce and so also can't fix this.

Hi,
I am able to reproduce the issue on latest Nightly build 71.0a1 (2019-10-14) (64-bit) using Win 7.
