Steps to reproduce

  1. Start Firefox
  2. Connect to Netflix with a valid account
  3. Select a movie of choice and let it play
  4. Get the computer in Sleep Mode and wait around 10-15 seconds in this state
  5. Start the computer

Expected result

  • The windows resumes, and the playback of the movie is still working on Netflix.

Actual result

  • The windows resumes, but the movie is freezed and clicking on it, nothing happens.

Regression range
I will see for a regression range asap.

Additional notes

  • Windows 7, Ubuntu 18.04 and macOS 10.14 are not affected.
  • The attachment shows the behavior after the computer was started from the sleep mode state.
  • 60.7.2ESR is not affected by this issue on Windows 10.

This issue could not be reproduced because the issue described in bug 1606331 was happening instead. Closing.
