[Affected versions]:

  • Fx 67.0.4
  • Fx 68.0b14
  • Fx 69.0a1

[Affected platforms]:

  • Win 10 x64 ARM (aarch x64)

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Go to this link.
  3. Switch the video resolution to 1080p, right click the video and set it to loop/repeat.
  4. Let the video play a few times

[Expected result]:

  • The video should play without any issues.

[Actual result]:

  • The video image freezes for a few seconds on every play through.

[Regression range]:

  • This is not a new regression since I managed to reproduce it on the earliest aarch x64 build.

[Additional notes]:

  • This issue does not occur in chrome on the same ARM machine.
  • The machine has the Qualcom Adreno 630 GPU.
  • The video did not freeze when played without the loop/repeat on.
