Prerequisites:

• Turn on high contrast from Windows settings. (I used "High Contrast White")

Steps to reproduce

1. Download a stub installer.
2. Run the Firefox Installer executable file.

Expected result

• The background image has no glitches.

Actual result

• The bottom of the background image has glitches.

Regression range

• I don't think this is a regression.

• I changed the contrast a bit in the image in order to see the issue easier.

What I think we should do is just disable the background image when a high contrast theme is enabled, because it's basically impossible for text against any background image to meet that definition of high contrast.

I do not think this is severe enough to block bug 1547399. I'll fix it as part of bug 1548612 (which hasn't landed yet as I write this).

This should be fixed for 69 now that bug 1548612 is landed there. Once that gets uplifted for 68 (I'll request that today), that should fix this there as well. I don't plan on fixing it for 67.0.5 because I think it's too late to mess with that release and add in the risk.

I verified the fix on beta 68.0b5 on Windows 10 x64, Windows 7 x64, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. The bug is not reproducing. When high contrast theme is active, the image is not displayed.
