[Affected versions]:
- Fx 66.0b5
- Fx 67.0a1
- Fx 65.0 RC
[Affected platforms]:
- macOS 10.13
- macOS 10.12
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Launch Firefox.
- Crash Firefox by navigating to about:crashparent.
[Expected result]:
- The crash reporter window has a correspondent icon in the dock section or the cmd+tab app list.
[Actual result]:
- The crash reporter window is not displayed in the dock section or the cmd+tab app list.
[Regression range]:
- From my understanding, the crash reporter window was removed from the dock section in bug 1471873 --> see comment 43
[Additional notes]:
- From a QA and a User standpoint not having a quick way to bring the crash window back into focus is a really unpleasant experience.
- Please note that the Crash Reporter window has the proper correspondent on the Ubuntu Launcher bar or the Windows Taskbar so it would make sense to have similar behavior on all 3 environments.
