[Affected versions]: - 65.0b4 - 66.0a1 (2018-12-11) [Affected platforms]: - Windows 10x64 - macOS 10.14 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Launch FF. 2. Open multiple websites in new tabs. 3. Open about:performance. 4. Launch a private session. 5. Open multiple websites in new tabs of the private session. 6. Open about:performance. [Expected results]: - All the tabs(processes) contained in the normal session are contained in the task manager of the normal session. - All the tabs(processes) contained in the private session are contained in the task manager of the private session [Actual result]: - It can be noticed that all tabs opened in either private or normal session are displayed in task manager of FF. [Regression range]: -Not a regression. [Additional notes]: - Having multiple tabs opened, both in normal and in private session may be confusing for the user. I would suggest having session specific tabs displayed in task manager of FF, or at the very least, create a distinction in task manager of which tabs belong to normal vs private session.

As stated I would suggest we wontfix this bug, as a task manager is supposed to provide insights into every open tab that contributes to browser performance (and private tabs are not special in that regard). But I agree that it would be useful to have an indicator in the tab row or a separate column for tabs belonging to a private window or even another container.
