- 65.0b4
- 66.0a1 (2018-12-11)

[Affected platforms]:

- Windows 10x64 
- Dell XPS 12-9Q33
- Surface Pro 2 

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch FF on a touch device.
2. Open multiple websites in new tabs.
3. Open about:performance
4. Tap x to close any element(preferably from the middle of the list)via the touch screen.


[Expected result]:

- Tapped element from list is highlighted while holding the tap on the X button, upon tap release, the selected element is closed and the next element in the list is not highlighted with the X button in a tapped animation state.

[Actual result]:

- Upon tapping the X button from the list to close it, it can be noticed that the next element from the list will automatically be selected(highlighted) with the X button in a tapped state

[Regression range]:
- this issue is not a regression.

Hello all, 

Please also note that his issue occurs for the Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 x64 on touch devices as well.
