[Affected platforms]:
- Ubuntu 18.04 x64
- Ubuntu 16.04 x86

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Open Library (Ctrl+Shift+O)
2. Select one by one all the options from Views - Show Columns

[Expected result]:
- The columns are all visible, re-adjusting accordingly to the panel size.

[Actual result]:
- The columns are not re-adjusting properly, some of the columns are hidden. 

[Regression range]: 
- This behavior is not a regression, it is reproducible way back to Fx 30.0a1.

[Additional Notes]:
- The issue is no longer reproducible when the Library panel is enlarged.

I see the same behavior on Windows as on Ubuntu, if I make the window smaller on Windows.  So, this isn't actually a Ubuntu-specific thing (despite the screenshot).

The only difference seems to be that the default window-size happens to be big enough to show some content for every column (even if it's just the "..." character) on Windows, but it's not quite big enough on Ubuntu. (And this difference may be due to different font metrics, or different default content sizes, or something like that.)

Anyway: to the extent that there's a bug here, it's a bug in the UI design of this window itself, which places this in Toolkit|Places I think.

(And the fix would be to make each column have a minimum size that is at least wide enough to hold the "..." character (if not more), and to make this pane horizontally scrollable in case there's not enough room (so that it doesn't have to squish columns away to nothing), I guess?)

I'm not sure we can spend resources on this, also considered the future of the Library is still uncertain. patches are welcome though.
