[Affected versions]:
- Firefox: 63.0.1, 64.0b7, 65.0a1 (2018-11-05)

[Affected platforms]:
- win10x64, Ubuntu 16.04, macOS 10.14;

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox;
2. Access the about:newtab page;
3. In the aweseomebar type: @amazon duck
4. Select just the "zon" text;
5. Copy + paste it in the exact same location;

[Expected result]:
- @amazon string is still highlighted;

[Actual result]:
- just the "@ama" string is highlighted;

[Regression range]:
- not a regression;
- introduced with bug 1480505(implementation of highlights);

[Additional notes]:
- attached recording with the issue;
- reproducible with other searchShortcuts/Engines as well;
- low-edge case scenario;
- regular edit enables the highlight but the copy-paste scenario doesn't;
Shifted to a more appropriate section.
Component: Activity Streams: Newtab → Address Bar
another minor glitch, imo.

Seems to only happen for suffixes. If you copy and paste in the middle, the highlight remains, which is interesting and maybe helpful info for fixing this. It's also fixed as soon as the urlbar loses and regains focus. I agree it's minor.

I think this can't happen now that we enter search mode when the keyword is confirmed
