[Affected versions]: - Firefox 63.0.1 - Firefox 64.0b6 - Nightly 65.0a1 [Affected platforms]: - macOS 10.13 - Ubuntu 16.04 x64 - Windows 10 x64 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Go to https://ar.wikipedia.org/. 2. Select a word. 3. Activate Find Toolbar (Ctrl+F) 4. Paste the word in the search bar. 5. Click on it and press "Backspace" from the keyboard repeatedly. [Expected result]: - The word is deleted. [Actual result]: - The cursor is placed at the end of the word, but is not delete. [Regression range]: - I don't think this is a regression. I can reproduce the issue using Firefox from 2008 - 01 - 02. [Additional Notes]: - Please look at the attached gif to see the bug reproducing. - The bug is not reproducing if the cursor is placed at the end of the word.

Oana, this happens only in the findbar and not in any other text input?

It happens in the URL bar, the search bar from the toolbar, the search field in the Library, search field in the sidebar and the search field from the Settings, too.
I think it happens in all the search fields.

Right, that's what I suspected... I'm sending this over to Core::Widget for triage. It might also be an issue with the Element's value setter, but I'm not sure.
