Oana, this happens only in the findbar and not in any other text input?

Flags: needinfo?(oana.botisan)
Priority: -- → P2

It happens in the URL bar, the search bar from the toolbar, the search field in the Library, search field in the sidebar and the search field from the Settings, too.
I think it happens in all the search fields.

Right, that's what I suspected... I'm sending this over to Core::Widget for triage. It might also be an issue with the Element's value setter, but I'm not sure.
